The training is part of the project Capacity Building in International Relations and is an initiative sponsored by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (GIIDS). The broad objective of the project is to promote the roles of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia within international organisations and multilateral affairs, increase the accountability and transparency in the management of public affairs and to improve access to information. The course is held alternatively in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Train the Trainers CABIR 19

We have the pleasure to announce the launching of the application process for the Train-the-Trainers initiative. This initiative was first started with CABIR 8 and has the objective to support CABIR Alumni who have an interest in teaching. The role of the trainers is to assist the Professors to organise the course, to chair work-lunches and to guide working groups in the afternoons during the first week of teaching. Trainers receive pedagogical advice from the Professor in view of developing teaching and pedagogical skills. Trainers are also a connecting link between new and old participants thus creating continuity between new and old CABIR Alumni. Trainers must be CABIR Alumni and have an interest in teaching. All trainers are selected following a written application and an interview. The applications and further information can also be downloaded here (Application). We strongly encourage all interested CABIR Alumni to apply.
